As we contemplate the nuclear meltdown in Fukishima, the accelerating pace of global climate change, and the relentless onslaught of development, we need to ask ourselves, Why are we facing such catastrophe’s?  Are the destructive actions of our culture inevitable?  For all the many religions and cultures in the world, there are only two fundamental belief systems, one is the earth belongs to mankind, and the other is mankind belongs to the earth.  For an exploration of these opposing beliefs, and their consequences for humanity and the world, listen to The Living Earth Connection on Sunday, September 29th, at 9:30a.m. Pacific Standard Time on  The show will remain archived under the heading Spiritual Perspectives.
