On Thursday, October 23, at 5 p.m. PST, episode #2 of Wildlife Matters airs on kmud radio.  In this episode we look at coyotes, currently the most persecuted native carnivore in North America.  Coyotes are fascinating social animals who communicate extensively, form deep, long lasting bonds, and play an important role in ecosystems.  Due to their evolutionary history, their numbers have increased, despite intense persecution by the USDA’s Wildlife Services.  It’s time to stop the pointless cruelty, and celebrate these amazing native carnivores.
